Take Your Halloween Cosplay to the Next Level with These DIY Fortnite Paper Masks

Fortnite recently released some official DIY paper masks and mini-figure templates to make cosplaying as Fortnite characters easy and fun.

We got the Fortnite Halloween event called Fortnitemares in yesterday’s update. The update introduced Halloween decorations, ghosts, witch brooms, and many new game mechanics. The Authority has been taken over by Midas and his shadow henchmen. Players who are eliminated are turned into ghosts and can team up on survivors.

With all these spooky themes going on and Halloween coming up, you might think about cosplaying as Fortnite skins this time around. Fortnite has made this easy by introducing its official DIY paper masks and mini-figures.

These paper masks and mini figures are easy to make, cheap, and fun. They work by folding printed paper in a specific order to give them desired shape. Fortnite recently tweeted about the release of these DIY paper masks and mini figures.

How to Make?

These paper masks and mini figures are very easy to make and can take less than an hour to assemble. They look great and the mini-figures can be put on display on your desks.

  1. First, you need to head over to the Fortnitemares official cosplay page.
  2. Browse through the catalogs and find the one you want.
  3. Download the PDF and print it on a piece of paper.
  4. Use proper tools to cut out or bend the printed paper according to the instructions.

Currently, there are only three masks and three mini-figures templates available for download but more might be added in the future. You can choose between the Skull Trooper, Ghoul Trooper, or the Arachne paper masks. According to the official website each mask can take up to 1.5 hrs to make.

The three mini-figures that are currently available are the Big Mouth, Ghoul Trooper, and Raven. These can be made in about 45 minutes.

Even if you are not into cosplay, making these DIY Fortnite paper masks and mini-figures can be a fun little project.
