Surgeon Simulator 2 coming on August 27

Sequel to the popular surgery game, Surgeon Simulator 2 is arriving soon on the Epic Games Store.

Prepare the OR once again with Surgeon Simulator 2, coming to PC on August 27th of 2020. The game will be coming to the Epic Games Store, with a planned console release later on in the future. Although no dates are given.

Bossa Studios have announced the date recently, along with some new features, with the biggest one being co-op. The game will offer co-op for up to 4 players to operate through the story mode, with their classic wacky gameplay.

Furthermore, there will be a level creator mode, where you can create and share your craziest operation rooms and scenarios, with your friends.

Another change in this unexpected sequel is that the game will now have some seriousness in the gameplay unlike, anything goes in the first.

Surgeon Simulator 2 is part of the popular hospital ‘sim’, Surgeon Simulator first released on PC in 2013. Followed by PS4, iOS, Android release in 2014. The game got a Switch port in 2018.

The game received mixed reviews by critics, getting a 71 on Metacritic. But everyone praised the game for its ridiculous and fun and tough gameplay.

Although, making the game an Epic Store Exclusive will surely turn some heads, the multiplayer feature in a creative and comedic game like Surgeon Simulator is a huge attraction. More so, in these tough times.
