Valve recently revealed their Steam platform best selling games of 2020, which is comprised of a variety of games. AAA to small scale indie projects.
2020 gave us a year full of hardships and never before seen occurrences. On the other hand, the year has also given us some outstanding games. As well as some sleeper hits. Such as Among Us and Fall Guys. This means that the most popular video game storefront, Steam had a lot going on for them the whole year.

Games like Death Stranding, Horizon Zero Dawn made their entry to PC on Steam. Furthermore, apart from the usual game releases, Microsoft and EA have also turned to Steam to publish on the PC platform. And of course, the most hyped, Cyberpunk 2077 which too belongs on this list.
Consequently, PC gamers spent a lot of time playing through immersive experiences through the Steam platforms. In turn Valve’s Steam just got bigger with so many sales.
Now that the year is ending, Steam has published a list of the best selling games of 2020.

A small indie game, Among Us not even released in 2020 earned the best selling title of the platform. Now a part of pop culture. Thanks to quarantining at home and an increased interest in casual online games. Hence, Fall Guys is also present in this list.
The list also includes another indie title Phasmophobia. Games releasing on PC is a plus for both devs and gamers. And we can see that as Microsoft’s Sea of Thieves, Halo MCC is also on this list. As well as Atlus’ classic JRPG, Persona 4 Golden and PS4’s Horizon Zero Dawn.
Good to get a PC now as it is well established which platform is dominating. Furthermore, be sure that Steam will surely be growing bigger as more and more exclusive publishers are now embracing Steam.
On the other hand rival, Epic Games Store have also gotten a steady footing with their exclusives, sales, and giveaways. But it will yet take time to reach an equal playing field with Valve’s Steam.
