Starfield lets you customize your ship as you want. It has a simple but addictive customization system. Here, we have some of the best designs we have seen in Starfield.
Starfield is Bethesda’s new RPG that gives the players a whole new universe to explore. At the start of the game, you are given a starting ship to pilot, and the world becomes open for you to go around wherever you want. Later on the line, you can buy a new ship or steal one from the pirates or different factions active in this universe.
One of the best aspects of Starfield is its ship customization. You will unlock the first spaceport after going through the story a bit. After that, nearly every spaceport has a ship technician you can talk to. Talking to the technician will let you customize your ship. The community has come up with some very creative designs for the ships. Here are our top 5 favorite ship designs in Starfield.
Top 5 Best Ship Designs in Starfield
5. X-Wing
The X-Wing is one of the classic spaceships from the Star Wars movies. Many people have grown up watching these, and with the new installment in the Star Wars franchise, many more are also getting into it. You can also make this spaceship in Starfield. YouTuber Fudgiebrown shows how you can do this in the game.
4. Planet Express
Planet Express from Futurama is another cool design we have seen pop up in Starfield. It is a bulky-looking spaceship. As a result, it is pretty slow compared to some of the other ships on the list. But if you want to pilot a cool bus-type spaceship, this is great. User SP7R on Reddit showcases this ship and how to build it.
3. Millennium Falcon
Another classic spaceship from Star Wars is the Millennium Falcon. For many, it is the first ship they want to play with. And now you can own your own Millennium Falcon in Starfield. krunkstep77 and Triss_Mockra both show different designs for the Falcon. You can follow either of these and make your own Millennium Falcon in the game.
2. Bat Wing
Yes, you can make the Bat Wing in Starfield. It not only looks cool but also flies pretty well. However, it has no weapons since Batman doesn’t use guns (very rarely). So, this is a pretty good ship for flying around, but not for combat. Youtuber Mida Life Crisis shows an extensive build on building your own Batwing. You can always modify the build to add some weapons on top of it as well.
1. Borg Cube
This is the ship for you if you want to be menacing while piloting a spaceship. The Borg Cube from Star Trek is a cube-shaped spaceship. Being a menacing cube doesn’t really make the ship look like a spaceship, but you can still make this thing in Starfield. Redditor IngeniousIdiocy shows a good build on how to make this thing work. Even if it doesn’t make any sense aerodynamically, it looks cool and works. So, you may as well make it and use it in the game if you want to be the pilot of a menacing cube.
