5. Heller’s Cutter

Heller’s Cutter is the first entry in our best heavy weapon list. It is a heavy gun that the players can acquire pretty early in the game. It’s a different variant of the first weapon you use in the game, the Cutter.

Heller’s Cutter is located in a weapon box in Vectera. Once you have finished the first mission, you can fly back to Vectera to get the heavy weapon. Though it has a damage rating of only 4, it’s still one of the most useful guns in the early phases of the game. It has a fire rate of 76 and a range of 3 meters since it’s primarily used to excavate resources. But the gun offers a pretty solid accuracy of 76.7%.

4. N67 Smartgun

The N67 Smartgun is a unique heavy weapon that uses 7.7 mm ammo. It has a base damage of 10. The gun can hold up to 300 bullets at a time, making it the perfect choice to easily ambush any enemy wave. It has a range of 40 meters and an accuracy of 49.3%; thus, it can be used in both long- and close-range fights. The N67 Smartgun can be purchased from UC Distribution in New Atlantis. The gun has six mod slots, which can buff it to make it one of the best heavy weapons.

3. Arc Welder

The Arc Welder is a heavy gun that shoots 3 kV LZR laser ammo. It can hold 100 laser rounds, which can be an advantage when using it on the battlefield, as you won’t have to worry much about reloading. Though it has a slower fire rate of only 76 compared to the other heavy guns, it can significantly damage enemies. It can quickly kill enemies up to 20 meters away, thanks to its range and 45.6% accuracy. Two mods can be used with this weapon. The gun is pretty cheap and can be bought for only 2695 credits.

2. Microgun

The Microgun is versatile, allowing the players to deal heavy damage to both long-range and close-range enemies. It has a base damage of 12 and can hold 300 rounds of 7.7 mm ammo. With an accuracy of 47.2% and a fire rate of 350, this gun can take on enemies easily from up to 40 meters away. Once you start firing, the weapon will take some time to load and burst upon the enemies. You can use six mods with it. The weapon’s base price is valued at $13519. You can steal a Microgun from the UC Surplus in The Well of New Atlantis.

The Magstorm makes it to the top of the list for its high base damage of 12 and fire rate of a whopping 400. It can hold 160 rounds of .50 MI ammo. The damage can be devastating for enemies wearing any type of armor, making it a very useful heavy weapon to use against formidable enemies. It also offers a high range of 31 meters, making it effective in dealing damage to enemies at a distance with an accuracy of 50.5%.

Apart from that, it can also be used in both mid-range and close-range fights. You can attach two mods to the gun. Using the Depleted Uranium Rounds mod can increase its range up to 50 m. The gun is valued at 27824 credits.
