Best Lightsaber Stance Styles in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
5. Cross Guard Blade
The Cross Guard Stance is a slow-er in the bag but the most powerful and brutal stance style in the bag. It requires strategy and precise timing to make it effective in combat. It can take out weaker enemies in only a few hits and offers a stronger defense than other stances.
However, it’s best to pair it with a faster and more defensive stance to balance out the slow attacks. Moreover, you have to be on guard when using it against bosses. It has the highest power-per-swing, but its attacks are painfully slow, as you already know. Needless to say, it will leave enough space in the room to make you vulnerable against enemy attacks.
4. Single Blade
The Single Blade Stance is a jack-of-all-trades style that can be used as a failsafe when enemies prove too difficult with other equipped stances. Balancing with a more specialized style like the Double-Bladed or Blaster Stance is a great option.
However, the Single Blade stance provides a good balance between offense and defense for various enemies. Its attacks are quick, with shorter attack animations, reducing vulnerability to enemy hits. Moreover, it may not deal the highest damage or hit multiple targets, but its thrust attack can inflict significant stamina damage to break the enemy’s guard.
3. Double Blade
The Double-Bladed Lightsaber is a reliable stance style for taking out swarms of enemies. You can increase the overall distance from your attacks and hit multiple targets at close and medium range. Moreover, you can toss the saber and make a circle of inhibition zone around you.
While this stance excels at multi-target combat, it has the lowest damage output in the game. Therefore, it’s best to switch to a different stance when fighting a single enemy, especially if it’s a boss. Nonetheless, this stance is still a great choice since you’ll often find yourself fighting multiple enemies simultaneously as you progress further.
2. Blaster & Blade
Equip a blaster alongside the lightsaber to take down pesky ranged units. However, the blaster comes with a cooldown and limited charges. The lightsaber in this stance is less versatile, allowing only outward strikes. So, the key is to find a balance between the two weapons. Use the blaster to reduce an enemy’s guard before going in for the kill with your lightsaber. Recharge the blaster with melee hits and perks like Improved Clip. Against larger targets, use a charged shot to stagger them.
The blaster and lightsaber combo in this stance style can help you to take out enemies behind the front lines. As the old saying goes, practice makes perfect with this awkward combat style, but it shines in many situations.
1. Dual Wield
The Dual Wield Lightsaber Stance in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order requires a higher level of skill and comes with an increased risk of damage. While it allows for swift and aggressive attacks, it also leaves you more vulnerable to enemy strikes. However, its unique force ability can counter many incoming melee attacks.
This stance is perfect for veterans seeking a challenge and for taking down quick enemies or powering through slower opponents. You can pair it with other stances like Double Blade or Cross Guard. Despite its longer combos and heavier nature of strikes, Dual Wield strikes a fantastic balance between power and speed. It may take some time to master, but the high-skill ceiling pays off in group fights and against certain single targets.
