Team oNe’s rising star Karl “Alem4o” Zarth has been “indefinitely suspended” from Twitch due to multiple DMCA strikes on his account.
In a recent tweet, R6S pro player Alem4o shared that he couldn’t log in to his Twitch account. And later received an email from Twitch, which stated his indefinite suspension from the streaming platform.
This suspension has put an end to this Brazilian player’s streams. But, more importantly, this could even put a risk to Alem4o’s participation in BR6: the Brazilian Rainbow Six (BR6) Pro League, which is set to return on June 19 with Stage 2.
In a similar incident before, a Twitch ban denied z1ronic from appearing on an R6S broadcast. This is because of Twitch’s Community Guidelines, which states, “In addition, it is prohibited to use your channel to knowingly feature or advertise a suspended user. We understand that there may be instances where suspended users may appear on your stream due to circumstances beyond your control, such as through third-party gaming tournaments, but we expect that you make a good faith effort to remove them from your broadcast, mute them, or otherwise limit their interactions with your stream.”
Alem4o gained massive popularity in the Siege community with his stellar performance in the Six Invitational 2021. It would be a massive blow for Team oNe to lose their star player in such an important stage, as SI points are on the line.
But, there’s still some time, so hopefully, Alem4o will be able to lift his suspension and continue doing what he does best.
