Weapon nerfs that weren’t mentioned in Apex Legends patch notes 12.0.
Respawn Entertainment entered the battle royale genre of video games with their own title Apex Legends. It gained a massive fanbase following its initial launch back in 2019. Apart from their fast-paced first-person shooter mechanics, the introduction of hero-based abilities made this battle royale game stand out even more.
Apex Legends is currently on version 12.0 in Season 12. Every season, Respawn entertainment brings in numerous changes to the game based on player feedback.
Unannounced weapon nerfs in patch 12.0.
Along with every update, Respawn Entertainment also reveals patch notes which specify all the latest changes in detail. But sometimes, a few things get left out. For example, popular Apex Legends leaker Shrugtal has revealed which weapons were shadow nerfed.
Mainly three weapons have been nerfed without prior announcement. The Alternator, the Prowler, and the fan-favorite R99 have been nerfed. The hip-fire spread has been increased identically for all of the mentioned weapons. Stationary hip-fire spread is given a 20% increase while running and sprinting have experienced a 13% and 8% increase. Airborne hip-fire has been allocated a 14% spread increase.
Those are all the unannounced updates we have till now. But if anything new comes up, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
It turns out these shadow nerfs were accidental. Respawn has already pushed out an update to fix them.
