Sentinels sweep Team Vikings 2-0 in VCT Masters Iceland Upper bracket Semifinals

Tonight Sentinels face off against Team Vikings in the Upper bracket Semifinals of VCT Stage 2 Masters 2021.

The VALORANT Champions Tour 2021 Masters Reykjavík will have teams from all 7 regions. There will be 2 teams from NA, 2 from EMEA, 2 from Brazil, 1 from Korea, 1 from LATAM, 1 from Japan, and 1 from SEA.

Sentinels have stayed strong and held a dominating position in the NA Valorant scene. They were the Champions of VCT NA Stage 2 Challengers finals. Now they have traveled to Iceland to represent North America in the Global LAN Event.
With their previous player Sinatraa still not being able to participate in Riot events due to his ban, Tenz will continue playing for the Red team.

Team Vikings are the champions of VCT Stage 2 Brazil Challengers Finals. They have proven themselves as the strongest Valorant Team in Brazil and now they will travel to Iceland to represent their home nation on the global stage.

The first map was Icebox which was picked by Vikings. The first half ended with a close scoreline with Sentinels inching ahead. But in the second half, the red team dominated on the attacking side and won the map.
The second map was Haven picked by Sentinels. They showed their defensive prowess as they were ahead by a large margin. They quickly closed out the second round winning the map and the series.

TenZ and ShahZam stood out with the best performances with a +18 and +12 K/D respectively.
