VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: North America Stage 1 Masters is the main event after the three regional challengers series tournaments. It is a Double Elimination bracket tournament where each match is best-of-3 and the Grand finals are best-of-5.
Faze clan was the champions of VCT Challengers 2021: North America Stage 1 Challengers 3. In Masters, they won both their games 2-0 vs XSET and Team Envy. Sentinels had a rough start with Tenz stepping in for Sinatraa just before the Master’s event. But they managed to adapt to the new member and won their matches 2-1 and 2-0 vs Luminosity and 100 Thieves. The first met in the upper bracket finals where Faze lost 2-0. Now they meet again in the grand finals for a rematch.
The first map was Ascent picked by Sentinels. Faze put up a good defense and were ahead in the first half. But in the second half, Sentinels managed to make a comeback and clinch the map. The second map was Bind picked by Faze. Sentinels gained a lead in the first half which they converted into a victory. The last map was Haven picked by Sentinels. They showed utter dominance in the last map as they got an easy victory and secured the series.
Overall, dapr from Sentinels showed outstanding performance with a +20 K/D and 148.3 ADR.
