Ubisoft just released a teaser for the upcoming season of Rainbow Six Siege, which will be titled as ‘Shadow Legacy’. And you have seen it right the famous stealth agent, Sam Fisher is here to join the Siege team as an operator, who will be called “Zero”.
Although Sam Fisher wasn’t wearing his iconic night vision goggles, we still see the three green dots appearing on his gun. Earlier rumors and leaks came out to be true for this Splinter Cell-themed crossover, which might also be the case for the upcoming battle pass for Rainbow Six Siege.
Specialist ‘Zero’ will have some sort of special camera gadget that can be burrowed onto walls, maybe to get a vision on the other side of the wall. But nothing has been confirmed by Ubisoft as of now.
In Fisher’s official Ubisoft page, Lera “Finka” Melnikova writes a letter to Harry about the arrival of this upcoming operator:
“You would think it was hard for me to evaluate someone held in such high esteem. The figure of Sam Fisher has always been wrapped in mystery. Looking at his impressive resume, or what’s been made available to us, it’s not difficult to see why you chose Specialist Sam “Zero” Fisher.
I am pleased I was able to examine the functionality of his surveillance equipment. It’s not often Zero allows others to play with his toys, and it was a learning experience. There is a flexibility of movement and behavior that can be used on the offensive as well as preparation for the defensive that is well suited to his inclination to take advantage of any situation.
Don’t think he will go easy on me in training just because he knew my father. If Zero taught me anything when I encountered him as a child, it was how to see clearly and take the measure of those around you. It’s strange seeing him after all these years – in some ways he has not changed at all, but in others? He’s aged well at least.”
The full reveal for Operation Shadow Legacy is coming during the NA Six August 2020 Major Finals on August 16th. So the release date of Y5S3 might be around September 12th, depending on the length of the Test Server. So stay tuned for the latest updates.
