Best Weapons in the Early game of Resident Evil 4 Remake
Resident Evil 4 Remake will give you the option to get many weapons. Some of them can replace older weapons. But they will be introduced in the late game. Meanwhile, here are some of the best weapons you can get early in the game.
W-870 Shotgun
The W-870 is the first shotgun you can pick up. And this weapon can be picked up very early in the playthrough. Grab the weapon and use it when you get it. This will be your main shotgun for most of the game. Later you will get a better shotgun, but this is one of the best weapons you can have in your arsenal for the early to mid-game.
Red 9
Red 9 is one of the best pistols in the game. Fortunately, you can get it pretty early in the game. Right after the lake fight, you can use your boat to explore the lake. You will find a broken ship piled in the middle of the lake. Get on that pile and search for a chest. This gun will be inside this chest. This does really nice damage from the start, but with a few upgrades, you can easily use this pistol for the whole playthrough.
Bolt Thrower
Bolt Thrower is a weapon you can buy when you first encounter the merchant. This is an okay weapon initially, but it gets good after a few upgrades. However, this weapon is for a more stealthy approach to the game. The bolts of the Bolt Thrower can be retrieved, making it a good weapon to use if you are low on ammo. However, you may not want to spend on the bolt thrower just yet since the next weapon on the list is certainly better.
SR M1903 with Scope
The SR M1903 is a sniper you can buy when you encounter the merchant for the first time. This weapon will be available along with the Bolt Thrower in the shop. This is one of the best long-range weapons you will get in the game. Make sure to buy the scope after buying this weapon. That way, you can snipe people off from a distance before going in to finish the rest off. There isn’t really a weapon like this. So you should buy this as soon as you can.
