Learn how to upgrade to the Bite Back Edition of Redfall and receive the Redfall Hero Pass.
Arkane Austin’s latest game, Redfall, is an open-world shooter set in modern-day Massachusetts. Here, you will slay vampires with weighty blows, plunging wooden stakes into their hearts. While the game may feel more conventional than the studio’s previous titles like Dishonored and Prey, Redfall still boasts thoughtful level design, inventive powers, deep world-building, and clever enemy AI.
Although the game may not immediately appeal to the studio’s biggest fans, Redfall is still a quintessential Arkane game. The play session left a lasting impression, making the author eager to explore more of the game’s gothic small-town vibes and become the bane of bloodsuckers. It seems that in Redfall, killing vampires is a stakeholder’s dream come true.
Now, Redfall is available in Two editions, the Standard one and the Black Bite edition. Needless to say, if you bite someone’s back, you get something in return. Let’s see what we are getting in return.

Bite Back Edition of Redfall
Despite being different from the studio’s previous titles, Redfall still features the hallmark Arkane elements like thoughtful level design, inventive powers, and deep world-building. Whether slaying alone or in a squad, Redfall promises to deliver a stake-tacular experience for players. And that is what the Standard Edition promises you to give.
However, if you Preorder the Standard Edition, the scenario is quite different. You will get the Level 2 Unrivaled Grim Tide Shotgun, the Polar Vortex Multi-Weapon Skin, and the Blood Ravager Stake weapon attachment. Enough to make a bloody good impression.
Let’s talk about the Bite Back Edition. First of all, for PC enthusiasts, it will cost $59.99, the main game inclusive. And for the Xbox peeps, it will cost $99.99.
This edition comes packed with goodies, including the Redfall Hero Pass, the Throwback Outfit Pack, Laser Beam multi-weapon skin, and the Tactical Knife Stake weapon attachment.
The Laser Beam multi-weapon skin will help you shine a light on your enemies, and the Tactical Knife Stake weapon attachment will allow you to get up close and personal in your vampire-slaying adventures.
With the Redfall Hero Pass, you’ll have access to two future heroes with unique powers and gameplay, while the Throwback Outfit Pack will give you stylish and unique outfits for each of the four base heroes.
The Northern Expedition Devinder Outfit, Eyes in the Dark Jacob Outfit, War Clothes Layla Outfit, and Engineer Volunteer Remi Outfit—these four outfits offer unique looks for each of the heroes in Redfall, allowing players to customize their characters and stand out in the battle against vampires. Whether you prefer a rugged outdoor look or a more technical appearance, there’s an outfit to suit your taste.
And that is all I had for the Black Bite Edition of Redfall. See you on May 5th!
