Rainbow Six Siege’s upcoming season, Operation Neon Dawn, has been announced. Ubisoft has released a short teaser, showing a glimpse of the game’s next season, which is right around the corner.

The short clip doesn’t reveal much about Y5S4, but we can see some neon lines, forming a flower-like shape above the title of the new season. This could be the operator icon for the next Defender coming to the game, but nothing has been confirmed as of now.

However, in June a leak revealed the new operators coming in Year 5 Season 3 & 4, where we first saw Sam “Zero” Fisher with codename ‘Scout’. The leak also showed us the secondary hard breaching gadget, and the new ADS sliders, which turned out to be accurate.

In the same leak, we saw a second operator called “Aruni“, and she will be the new defender in the game. Aruni features a unique gadget named “laser reinforcement“, which allows her to place a grid of lasers in doorways, dealing damage to attackers. According to the leak, she will have three of these gadgets, so she might work very well as a Castle alternative. Aruni also has a prosthetic arm, allowing her to make larger sized melee holes in soft walls.

The neon beams in the teaser might be a hint for this laser gadget, but take all this information with a grain of salt as none of this has been officially confirmed by Ubisoft.
