Rainbow Six Siege surpasses 70 million players

Ubisoft’s tactical FPS shooter Rainbow Six Siege continues its strong growth, reaching 70 million players across all platforms.

Released back in 2015, Rainbow Six Siege just keeps on delivering new content every season with new operators and maps, which has helped this title to attract over 70 million registered players.

In their Q3 earnings for the 2020-2021 fiscal year, Ubisoft reported this impressive record for the tactical shooter.

Our strategy continues to bear fruits,” Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot said.

“We achieved the strongest quarter in Ubisoft’s history, by far, thanks to the quality of our releases and the depth of our catalog. We are immensely proud of our teams who, in exceptionally challenging times, launched four great titles across multiple platforms and simultaneously continued to enrich our Live services. This is an unparalleled achievement and they showed remarkable adaptability and resilience. Our ability to execute at such a high level of quality demonstrates the power of our production model and the sustainability of our organization.”

Rainbow Six Siege hit 60 million players last July when Ubisoft celebrated it with a “Thank You” video directed towards the entire Siege community. And with Year 6 reveal on the horizon, the game still has a lot to offer for the Siege fans around the world.
