Ubisoft and FACEIT have partnered up once again to expand FPL into the Latin American region.
In August, renowned esports platform FACEIT introduced its Pro League circuit for Rainbow Six Siege. FACEIT Pro League (FPL) launched first in Europe only but later expanded into North America. And now it is finally launching for the LATAM players.
FPL LATAM, launched on April 15th, will feature a similar system to Europe and North America. Initially, the league will consist of “Brasileirão (also known as BR6) and Circuito Feminino (the Women’s Circuit) players, as well as a select few brand ambassadors and other top players.”
Top Rainbow Six players from Brazil and surrounding South American countries will get a chance to fight for the $2,000 prize pool. Except for the first extended season, the leaderboards will be reset at the end of each month, providing players ample opportunities to climb to the top.
How to qualify for R6FPL LATAM?
“The first step on your path to FPL is to sign up for the open Division 2 of the Official Ubisoft Esports Hub on FACEIT, which is a 24/7 moderated solo-queue environment with esports settings. At the end of each month, the top five players will advance to Division 1. However, if you are ranked Platinum 3 or above, you can skip this stage and apply directly to Division 1. In order to do so, follow this link, press the “join hub” button and send us your application form. From Division 1, each month, only two top players will be invited to the FPL for the chance to play amongst professional players.” – via FACEIT Blog.
Now the FPL circuit only needs to be expanded to APAC to cover all of the major Siege regions.
