Rainbow Six Quarantine gameplay to be finally revealed at Ubisoft Forward E3 event

Ubisoft has confirmed that new details about Rainbow Six Quarantine will finally be revealed in their E3 2021 event.

The Ubisoft Forward 2021 event, which will be a part of E3, is a digital conference where new information and game updates will be unveiled. The event is going to be streamed live on Saturday, June 12, at 12 PM PT.

The schedule for this event has confirmed updates for this highly anticipated Rainbow Six title, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine.

“The main show kicks off at 8:00 PM (UK TIME), featuring big announcements, updates on some of Ubisoft’s live titles, and some surprises that you won’t want to miss. Catch all the details about the next mainline entry in the Rainbow Six franchise, formerly known as Rainbow Six Quarantine, with world premiere gameplay and trailers revealing this brand-new co-op title for the first time.”

Back in E3 2019, Ubisoft first revealed Rainbow Six: Quarantine, and since then, we have not received any update about it. The game got delayed in 2020 because of COVID-19, and Ubisoft even wanted to rename the title for this pandemic. R6: Parasite was the name given for internal testing, so we’ll have to see if that name stays for the main title.

If you didn’t know, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Quarantine is a three-player tactical co-op game set several years in the future of the Rainbow Six universe. The game will also include operators from Rainbow Six Siege.

Talking about Rainbow Six Siege, this tactical FPS shooter will also receive some updates in the Forward event. The Rainbow Six Siege community team will brief players on the game’s top issues and go in-depth with Siege developers on how they designed the new operator: Thunderbird. The show will also reveal many other things, such as the Y6S2 Streamer Charms, Community Artist Bundle, and Sixth Guardian Charity bundle partnerships. You’ll also have a chance to get your hands on an exclusive Fan Charm via Twitch Drops.

Alongside the R6 franchise, Ubisoft will also release more details about Far Cry 6, and provide updates for older titles like For Honor, Brawlhalla, and more. So you won’t want to miss the show, which will go live on June 12th at 7:00 PM (UK TIME) for the pre-show.
