Rainbow Six Siege hackers are now joining streamers’ pre-game lobbies

Rainbow Six Siege hackers have now found a way to forcefully get themselves into other players’ lobbies.

Cheating in Rainbow Six Siege or any other online game isn’t anything new. But one hacker named “XDYELLOWXD” is using an unusual form of hacks to join popular R6 streamers’ in-game parties. “Kitty,” a content creator for Rogue, noticed this cheater joining her squad without even being on her friend list.

This cheater, ranked Gold 3, had a ridiculous 9.0 Win/Loss ratio and measly 0.1 K/D over 10 matches. But “XDYELLOWXD” didn’t stop there, as he even managed to get himself into the squad of Jess “JessGOAT” Bolden, current Rainbow Six Siege broadcast talent and a former professional coach.

Both of these incidents being brought to the limelight has enabled Ubisoft to quickly ban this cheater, and avoid further disturbance.

Apart from this strange hack, recently, Rainbow Six Siege’s ranked matches have also been flooded with cheaters, with popular streamers and professional players calling out Ubisoft to mitigate these issues as soon as possible.

Ubisoft has stated in their top issues blog (November 30th 2020) that handling cheaters/hackers is one of their top priorities, and they will continue to implement new features to improve the cheating situation. However, as of now, players and streamers are getting frustrated with Ubisoft, as they are still not delivering the best experience for the Siege community. And with hackers randomly joining streamer’s lobbies, the cheating problem keeps getting worse day by day.

It is still tough to completely fix cheating problems in video games. But hopefully, in 2021, Ubisoft will be able to turn this around and manage to provide a better experience for everyone.
