PLAYDAY 1
STAGE 1 ADJUSTED CALENDAR
“For 2021, we have decided to spread the 9 playdays over 7 weeks instead of 5, with only one match per week for each team, on Mondays, starting at 6PM CET. This will give the teams more time to prepare for their match.”
“The last two playdays will be played on a weekend, on the 7th week; a special occasion that will bring an extra dose of excitement as the teams define their final stage ranking in an all-or-nothing showdown.”
Note: to leave room for the Six Invitational 2021, the calendar for Stage 1 has been adjusted.
MAP POOL
In this upcoming season, Ubisoft has decided to replace Theme Park with the reworked Chalet for all the four regions.
OPERATOR POOL
Tachanka and Aruni have finished their grace period and will now be added to the European League operator pool.
Competitive format
The same online best-of-one matches with the round-robin system return in EUL, which is now also the case for the NAL (offline matches) and the APAC region. However, in this new season, there will be no draws as matches will now go in overtime.
A regular win is rewarded with 3 points, while a loss gives 0 points. When the two teams fight up to the overtime, the winner gets 2 points while the loser gets 1 point.
