PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0 confirmed

A report has shown that Krafton is now working on a sequel to the massively popular battle royale game with PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0.

It turns out the secret project XTRM is going to be PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0 after all. Furthermore, this time around the games will have PC, Console, and mobile cross platform.

After the immense success that is the PUBG and PUBG series. It is not surprising that Krafton will be looking to expand this IP. Although they refer to the series as Battlegrounds and Battlegrounds Mobile.

This confirmation was reported in a news report and shared first by Twitter user PlayerIGN. The user usually reports on PUBG news and leaks. So the chances of PUBG 2.0 and PUBG Mobile 2.0 becoming reality are quite high.

Moreover, the report states that the games will most likely be arriving in the second quarter of next year. Therefore a probable release window of 2022 May- July. Additionally, Tencent will be trying to handle the complete development process of PUBG Mobile 2.0, without external help.

As of now, no more details can be known because this is part of a business report. But be fans of the series, be sure to keep your eyes peeled. As we will probably be seeing more leaks and maybe even an official teaser.

Exciting to see how far this adored franchise will go and what new features will it introduce.

PUBG was first released on PC and is now available on Xbox, PlayStation and a mobile standalone version.
