Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys is a famous Canadian Twitch streamer. She is one of the most successful female streamers on the platform. She mostly plays games on her streams like League of Legends and Fortnite. Pokimane is a member of OfflineTV a social media entertainment group.
Recently she shared some very important news about her Twitch channel on her official Twitter page.

Max Donation Amount of 5$:
Pokimane recently teamed up with Streamlabs to limit the max donation amount on her channel to only 5$. Any donations made to her channel cannot be greater than 5$.
In the tweet, she said, “worked with @streamlabs to create a donation cap of $5 for my channel! Thank you for supporting me to the point where I consider anything more than that unnecessary. To anyone more generous- please support growing channels, charities, and treat yourselves.”
She set the 5$ limit on donations and thinks that anything more than that is unnecessary because she is partnered with Twitch and is part of the content creator house OfflineTV and also has other brand deals as well.
The 5$ max donation limit has been set only on donations through Streamlabs. Other Donation methods like Twitch bits can still go above the 5$ limit.
This is a brave decision on her art and might encourage her viewers to donate to other growing channels. Her viewers might also be able to save money during these troubled times.
