A 25th-anniversary logo of Pokemon was teased on the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The Pokemon franchise took off with the release of Pokemon Red and Pokemon Green on February 27th, 1996 in Japan. And in 2021, Pokemon will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. Ahead of the anniversary, a logo has been teased to point us in the direction of what’s coming in February.

On the Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade this logo was officially announced by a group of dancing Pikachu on the original theme song of Pokemon. In the parade, they also had a giant winter-themed Pikachu balloon to celebrate its 20th appearance in the parade.
