Popular YouTuber Pewdiepie’s Twitch channel was recently banned.
Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg, more commonly known online as Pewdiepie, is a popular Swedish YouTuber and content creator. His Twitch channel with the same name has more than 100 million subscribers. Pewdiepie became popular for his horror movie gameplay videos way back in the early 2012 Youtube era.
Since then, Pewdiepie has posted videos every single day for almost a decade. But, after his showdown with Tserires and Cocomelon, which resulted in him crossing 100 million subscribers on YouTube, Pewdiepie moved to Japan and started posting videos sparingly. Fans would see him posting vlogging videos once a week or maybe even once a month.
Although Pewdiepie has a Twitch channel, we also rarely saw him streaming. But a few weeks ago, fans and followers of Pewdiepie were surprised to see his Twitch channel streaming old videos and Trailer Park Boys the TV show on repeat. Some assumed that his channel was hacked, but it was later revealed that CoPilotMedia took over Pewdiepie’s channel and made it into an endless rebroadcast.
But just a few hours ago, Pewdiepie’s Twitch channel was banned.

Pewdipie’s Twitch Account Banned
StreamerBans on Twitter announced the news of Pewdiepie’s Twitch account ban. According to the StreamerBans website, this is the first ban Pewdiepie’s Twitch channel ever received.
Possible Reason
Fans and followers were speculating about what resulted in Twitch banning Pewdiepie’s account, which was playing old videos. The most probable cause could be restreaming Pewdiepie’s Yandere Simulator gameplay.
Apparently, the game is banned on Twitch, and as the channel streamed old gameplay videos of the game, it received the ban. But this reason is not concrete as we do not have any official info about this situation.
