Valorant Oceania Tour 2021 is a part of the VALORANT Open Tour series organized by LPL and Riot Games. It is a single-elimination tournament where 8 teams from the Oceania region will fight it out for the $10,000AUD prize pool.
ORDER was a very strong team from the first closed qualifiers where they were the champions and only dropped 1 map in the entire tournament. Mindfreak secured their position from the second closed qualifiers. Now they face off against each other in the Finals event for the title of the best VALORANT team in Oceania.
It took all five maps to determine the winner but ORDER finally managed to secure the series. They won the first two maps, Bind and Split and were on their way to win the finals. But Mindfreak wouldn’t go down easy and took the next two maps consecutively. They were aiming for a reverse sweep and they almost managed to make the comeback. But Ascent, being a well-versed map for ORDER, the team managed to finally get the last map they needed and won the series.
Overall, Autumn and Disk0 from ORDER had outstanding performances with +13 and +11 K/D’s along with 136.2 and 145.3 ADR’s respectively. From Mindfreak, norsin stood out with a +11 K/D and 145.9 ADR.
