Some of these abilities will be unlocked as you progress through the Story, while others you will have to find and unlock. Below is a complete guide on how to run faster in Neo The World Ends With You.

How to Run Faster

There are requirements that you must fulfill to do everything in the game. The game requires you to complete specific tasks or reach a certain point in the Story to unlock any ability.

In this case, you must progress through Week 2, Day 3 to unlock the ability to run faster. Once you have progressed this far into the story, your new teammate, Beat will give you an Ability called Soundsurf.

Soundsurf will allow you to move faster and explore Shibuya. To use this ability, press Circle on PlayStation’s controller, or the A button on your Nintendo Switch controller.

If your button-pressing timing matches the song’s beat playing in the background, you can move faster. It also increases the Groove percentage, which comes in handy during any battle.
