Na’Vi Benches Nelo from their Rainbow Six Siege roster

Natus Vincere esports club has benched Leon “neLo” Pesić from their Rainbow Six Siege roster player and also has been put up for transfer.

The Croatian player of Leon “neLo” Pesić has been with Na’Vi for almost two years now, but unfortunately it has to come to an end. Na’Vi benched him from the Rainbow Six lineup as “his playstyle does not fit into the way the team wants to play in the upcoming season”.

The recognizable lineup of neLo, Doki, CTZN, Kendrew, and Saves was formed before season 9 of the Challenger League with MnM Gaming. MnM then went on to win that season and got automatically promoted to the Pro League.

In season 10, the same lineup got acquired by Natus Vincere and they eventually went on to win the Pro League Season 10 Finals against DarkZero Esports, where ‘neLo’ played a crucial role for the team. ‘neLo’ even went on to defend their ESL premiership twice with Natus Vincere.

However, NaVi’s recent performance in Pro League season 11 has not been up to the mark- finishing in fourth place. The team even failed to qualify for the European ‘Mini-Major’, as they sat in 5th place at the end of EUL stage 1.

So Na’Vi has decided to change up their current roster, where Panix was the first player to be removed from the main squad. And now neLo will be the second player to be benched, as Na’Vi plans their new playstyle for the future.

Here’s what the neLo had to say about the change:

I would like to thank NAVI for everything they’ve done for me, It was a pleasure to play for such a well-known esports club, and add a trophy from the LAN tournament to the collection of Natus Vincere awards.

NaVi’s manager “N1ghtEnd” stated:

Having assessed all the risks, we’ve made a tough decision to replace neLo. I have no complaints about Leon as a player and as a person, but his playstyle does not fit into the way the team wants to play in the upcoming season.
