Naraka: Bladepoint is a martial arts battle royal that sets itself apart from the abundance of battle royal games we have today. It is every fighting game enthusiast’s dream. Naraka: Bladepoint’s presentation on E3 during PC games showcasing revealed its open beta and release date. While the game will officially launch on August 12 of 2021, the final Beta went live today. The game’s initial beta was released in April.
However, it seems that the game attracted a lot more players this time around, reaching a peak of 136,000 players on Day One. That’s most likely due to the vast improvements 24 Entertainment has made to the game since its initial beta release in April. The final beta also introduced new melee weapons.
Unlike other battle royal games that are designed to allow players to play it safe until the circle closes in, Naraka: Bladepoint focuses extensively on close melee combat. Moreover, Naraka’s inclusion of equipment such as the grappling hook allows players to create perfect ambushing opportunities. Furthermore, the players are also able to unleash powerful combos using a range of attacks using chainsaws, swords, spears, and fists.
