MHS2 Expeditions and Leveling Up Explained
Monster Expeditions will be available halfway through the game’s third chapter. You can access the expedition menu via stables. After you are in Kaun Village, three main options will pop up after you choose the expedition menu.
The three main options are Field, Instructions, and Monsties. The field will show the zones you cleared already, while instructions will set priorities such as ” Treasure Hunter,” prioritizing looking for items.
Monsties will show you the squad that will be going along with you. Up to 6 creatures can join your party, and the higher the levels of your Monsties, the more chances of success.
For getting more exp, choose the EXP “Enthusiast” option in Instructions, it helps your Monsties get more exp in a short amount of time.
When you choose an expedition, it will begin, and it will end when the timer goes off. Moreover, if you leave the area or the game, the timer will not recognize it.
Apart from this, you can also use the quick finish button when you are in battle. However, doing this could be risky as this is only effective if you are five levels above the enemy you are facing.
