Marvel Snap: 5 Best Starter Decks

Marvel Snap has a lot of cards you can use and choose from to make your deck. Here are the five best starter decks you can make in the game.

Marvel Snap is a card game where you play different cards to win against your opponent. The game has a lot of cards for you to choose from. And on top of that, all the cards can be obtained for free by playing the game.

Marvel Snap has a level-based system called collection level. Each time you level up a card, you gain a collection level. And every few collection levels, you unlock a random card. So as long as you are playing and upgrading your card, you will be able to unlock all of them.

To make the collection easier, the game has a pool system. Pool 1 is the starter pool. You will get all the pool one cards by collection level 214. So here are the five best starter decks you can make in Marvel Snap.

5 Best Starter Decks in Marvel Snap

All of these decks are possible to make with Pool 1 cards. Thus they are called a starter deck. These decks are pretty good and will help you win more games in Marvel Snap.

5. Namor Power Combo

These are the cards used for this deck:

  • Namor
  • Klaw
  • Devil Dinosaur
  • Iron Man
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Sentinel
  • Angela
  • Cable
  • Mantis
  • Nightcrawler
  • Elektra
  • Ant-Man

Namor is a card that gains +5 power if he is the only one on the field. He can help you win a location easily. But since his buff will wear off if other cards are placed in the same location, you need to support him using cards that can provide him power through other locations.

Klaw and Mister Fantastic are particularly good for this. Other cards like Devil Dinosaur, Angela, and Cable can be used to conquer the second location you need to win the game.

4. Destruction Deck

These are the cards used for this deck:

  • Nova
  • Yondu
  • Carnage
  • Colossus
  • Wolverine
  • Morph
  • Deathlok
  • Enchantress
  • White Queen
  • Iron Man
  • Devil Dinosaur
  • America Chavez

This deck focuses on destroying other cards that are placed on the field. So we have a lot of low-power and cost cards that will be devoured to make other cards stronger. We also have Colossus and Wolverine, who cannot be destroyed and regens upon destruction.

This is a fun deck to use on the opponent. Even though the focus is on destroying previously placed cards, there are some other powerful cards like Devil Dinosaur and White Queen so that you can make sure you win on two locations to secure the match.

3. 1-Cost Powerhouse

These are the cards used for this deck:

  • Ant-Man
  • Elektra
  • Squirrel Girl
  • Korg
  • NightCrawler
  • Angela
  • Mister Sinister
  • Captain America
  • Kazar
  • Blue Marvel
  • Onslaught
  • America Chavez

This deck consists of a lot of 1-cost units with various power levels. The point of this deck is to fill up the locations and buff them with synergizing cards to have a good power level across the board. Kazar is the MVP of this deck as he increases the power of 1 cost character.

Other good synergy consists of Blue Marvel’s power increase, Mister sinister clone, and Angela’s power increase each time a card is played.

2. Reveal Deck

These are the cards used for this deck:

  • NightCrawler
  • Rocket Raccoon
  • Yondu
  • Forge
  • Mister Sinister
  • Star-Lord
  • Ironheart
  • Enchantress
  • Jessica Jones
  • White Tiger
  • Gamora
  • Odin

The special feature of this deck is the On Reveal abilities. All the cards in this deck have On Reveal abilities. Some, like Jessica Jones, can gain +4 power, and Gamora can gain +5 power upon reveal if you use them properly. This deck has some really powerful cards, but you need to use them strategically to make the most out of them.

And to top off the deck, we have Odin, who can re-trigger the On reveal abilities of the cards. Odin for this deck is the ultimate synergy card you can use to win a location easily.

1. Combo Deck

These are the cards used for this deck:

  • Elektra
  • Ant-Man
  • Nova
  • Nightcrawler
  • Angel
  • Blade
  • Scarlet Witch
  • Wolfsbane
  • Mister Fantastic
  • Deathlok
  • Strong Guy
  • Kazar

This deck focuses on a lot of combos between different cards. If you want to make a highly strategic play, this deck is for you. Here you have Nova and Deathlok, who has a good synergy. When Nova is destroyed using a Deathlok card, your team will gain +1 power. And since this deck also has Angel, Angel will replace his place.

Since the deck has a low energy cost, it is highly likely that you will run out of cards to play from your hand. But fear not, we have Stong Guy to synergize with an empty hand. He gains +6 power if your hand is empty when he is played. We also have Kazar, who can increase the power of many of the cards in the deck. So this is overall a very good deck to use against your opponent and surprise them.
