Knockout City coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch

EA’s Knockout City, a futuristic dodgeball game is coming to EA Play, hence on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at launch.

 Created by Velan Studios’ and published by EA, Knockout City was first announced at Nintendo Direct 2021. Since then, the game garnered quite a bit of a fan following. Especially due to its different approach to popular sports. Dodgeball. Players will form teams as they seek to eliminate opponents with dodgeball using different skills and abilities. Furthermore, the game will offer multiple fast-paced game modes.

Knockout City is scheduled to release in May. And just before its release, EA’s Rachel Crowley revealed that the game will be coming to EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate on launch. Therefore, Xbox owners can enjoy this fast-paced dodgeball tourney on day one.

The news was revealed in an Xbox blog post. Where Rachel talked about the success of the Knockout City. In fact, the beta received over 1 million downloads. Furthermore, the blog also explains much about how the game works. And that there will be special events and rewards, soon after launch.

Knockout City is releasing on May 21, with a price tag of $20. Knockout City’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate day one launch is a great deal. Especially after it has seen rising popularity with the beta weekend. Interested gamers can pick up a Game Pass Ultimate for $5 dollars less and try it out. While they enjoy the rest of the great games available. On the other hand, if you have already set your mind to it, then go for full price.
