All Special Units in Kaiju Wars
If you are playing the game and Basic Units fail you when you need them to do the task. Don’t worry. Kaiju Wars has another unit specialized in doing jobs for you. They can damage a Rampaging monster, clear up all Criss tiles and deploy different kinds of units for you to grasp the game.
The best thing about them is you will not require money to place them. Instead, they need preparation time to be deployed. However, the only con about them is you can only deploy one Special Unit at a time. You can only get the Special Units from the Lab. You make sure you have your research lab-ready before you want to get access to Special Units. Furthermore, check out the full breakdown of each Special Unit below:
Guncross Wing/Robot
This Special Unit is undoubtedly one of our favorites, and this specific unit goes along with the Japanese theme of the game. This unit has two forms, one if a Fighter Jet, and the other is a Robot that can cause menace. For the Robot, it has a ground attack unit of 4, an Aerial attack of unit 2, and a Speed of unit 3.
Moreover, the Jet has a ground attack on unit 2, an aerial attack on 3, and counter damage of unit 3. To top it all off, it has a very high speed of 5. You can use him to fight off Aerial Kaijus and slow down all kinds of Kaijus on the ground. It is a perfect Special unit for almost all scenarios, but it takes five units of preparation that you will have to bear.
Freezer
The freezer unit does not damage much, but it’s the Perfect Unit for support. As its names suggest, it can slow down Kaijus by one tile and give all your units and labs to prepare a counterattack powerful enough to wipe out all of them. It has a speed of unit 2 and 1 base damage to both flying and ground Kaijus. The freezer takes three units of time for training. With no counter damage, it might seem like not a great unit, but Freezer could well become the difference between winning and losing if you use it well enough.
Big Boy
Remember Bomber from the Basic Units? Big Boy is just that unit, but with all the stats doubled. A bomber is a decent unit itself, and with double the stats, Big Boy will do more than enough for you as a Special Unit.
Big Boy does Ground Damage of unit 4, Counter Damage of 2, and lastly, has preparation time of 3. It has a decent speed of 3, which is not great but enough to attack a Kaiju and deal lots of damage. Biog boy does not have the best mobility, but its damage makes up for that, it is undoubtedly one of the best damage dealers in the game, and as a Specialized Unit, it is just like its name.
Liger Panther
Like Bomber has a big brother called Big Boy in the Specialization unit, Liger Panther is another version of Tank. This Tank version is more powerful and does damage like no other tanks in the game. It has a base ground attack and counter attack of unit 3.
It takes only two preparation times which is the lowest in all Specialization Units, and it comes with a reason. Liger Panther cannot target Flying Kaijus, which is the weakness players will have to live with if they decide to deploy it. The Liger Panther is just like Tank. It slows down Kaijus and does a good amount of damage to them. Overall, it is a decent unit to keep in your arsenal.
OGR Platform
The OGR Platform is like Liger Panther but better. It is better because it can attack both flying and ground Kaijus with ease. It has the same attack unit of 3 to both ground and flying Kaijus. However, it does massive damage of 5 units as counter damage.
The unit is relatively slow and takes four units of preparation time, but it does pack a punch with its counter and base damage. As said, it is like Liger but Better. Liger is only better at preparation time than the OGR Platform; however, Liger cannot attack Flying Kaijus, but the OGR Platform can.
Sky Carrier
Sky Carrier is one of the only units which takes a preparation time of unit 7. It can be one of the most valuable units to play if you use it well. The Sky Carrier does not have any Ground damage, but it does have a counterattack damage unit of 5 and a speed of 3.
The Sky Carrier will act as a base for you to deploy units. It will increase the damage point of nearby and the deployed unit, which makes it very good support to use in the game. Sky Carrier is perfect for an offensive move you want to play against the Kaijus in mids of a battle.
Maser
Maser is one of the units with the highest damage stat in the game. It can crush Kaijus easily with its ground attack of unit 6, it is slow, but the damage it does makes up for it. The Maser will take a preparation time of 4 to be useable. However, to use Maser, you will have to be very careful as it does not have any counter damage or speed. So players will have to be precise when positioning it against Kaijus.
Super Z-2
Another unit that can do it all like Guncross is Super Z-2. This unit exists for all kinds of missions, including blocking and dealing with a lot of damage. The Z-2 has three units of Ground Damage and two units of Air Damage. Moreover, it has a healthy counter damage unit of 4, a speed unit of 3, and a decent preparation time of unit 4.
Z-2 is best for offensive gameplay, as it can charge onto a Kaiju and do reasonable amounts of damage. Doing counters with Super Z-2 is a must as it can do four units of counter damage and destroy Kaijus at once. After a Kaiju finishes off a Super Z-2, it will do damage of 3 to them, so it acts like a defensive unit while being an offensive unit.
Food Cart
Lastly, the last of the Special Units are called the Food Cart, which offers food to Kaijus. Yes, it provides food, but not for humans instead of Kaijus. Using it can attract Kaijus and set up a trap for them to fall into and finish them in one go. Without any three tiles of a Kaiju, if the Food Cart is sent out, the Kaiju will go towards and attack it. It can be a convenient Unit to use in the game to distract Kaijus while you are preparing an attack.
The Food Cart takes three units of time to prepare and has a speed of 2, but it does not do any damage to any Kaijus. It is best as a support cart, but it will not be able to defeat a Kaiju at once on its own.
Kaiju Wars Best Specialized Units Tier List
Best (S-Tier): Super Z-2, OGR Platform, Guncross Wing/Robot
Good (A-Tier):Â Food Cart, Big Boy, Freezer, Maser
Average (B-Tier):Â Sky Carrier, Liger Panther
Specialized Units all have some ability that makes them stand out from the rest. However, they all have some pros and cons, and we have made this Tier List based on that. All Super Z-2, OGR Platform, and Guncross Robot are jack of all trades and are great for any situation in the game. Super Z-2, OGR Platform, and Guncross Robot are on the S tier.
In Tier A, we have all the support units which can give us an edge in battle. What separates them from the S-Tier units is that they cannot go solo. They can only provide support and be the catalyst of the destruction. Lastly, in Tier B is Liger Panther, a better version of Tank but lacks the punch needed. Moreover, Sky Carrier is a decent addition to your arsenal, but all it can do is hold your units and buff them by one unit.
