Players will get to delve deeper into the 90’s style shooter with its latest expansion – Aftershock.
If you are unfamiliar with Ion Fury, then this might be the perfect time to pick up the game. Ion Fury came out in 2020 that hit players with a sense of nostalgia with its 90’s era first-person shooter visuals and aesthetics.
It uses the same engine as famous titles like Shadow Warrior and Duke Nukem 3D. The game adds a fresh blend of classic and modern features that sets it apart from most first-person shooters of this generation.

Ion Fury: Aftershock is set to pick up right where the original left off. The game follows Shelly Harrison continuing her fight against Heskel. The expansion will offer us new areas to explore, brand new armaments to defeat enemies with as well as high-speed vehicular combat.

Ion Fury was first released on platforms like PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The expansion will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Although the game has been announced for the Summer of 2021, we do not have an official date yet.
