Chet Singh or more commonly known as “ImAPet” just joined 100 Thieves as their new head coach for their CSGO roster.
ImAPet is an American CSGO analyst and coach who has a pretty good record when it comes to coaching different CSGO teams. His previous job as being a coach for both Evil Geniuses and NRG has made him a pretty safe bet for 100T.
“I was teamless in a pretty scary time, where Corona has pretty much limited a lot of CSGO opportunities, and opportunities given weren’t exactly what I would call living up to my expectations. Thankfully, I gave it enough time and didn’t sign my life away to Valorant where I was able to find a squad that I have a lot of faith in and they seem to have the same for me, so thank you, 100 Thieves, for the opportunity to let me jump back into competitive CS”, Chet Singh explained.
Experimenting with the current roster
Since he already faced 100T as an opposition before, he has a better understanding of the strength and weaknesses of the 100T’s CSGO roster. However with this current roster he wants to get players out of their comfort zone and try something totally new. Even though it may not give instant results, in the long run, it should help them elevate their game to the next level.
“It might not be great immediately but as long as we the team and fans trust the process, we will get there and get to the top”, he further emphasized. And it seems like his experiments might be starting to pay off already as they defeat Gen.G 2-0 in DreamHack Masters Spring 2020 – North America.
The current CSGO roster with the likes of Gratisfaction, jks, azr, liazz, jkaem, and Chet Singh as their new coach, 100T might finally get to the top. Judging by Chet Singh’s past record, 100T fans are really excited about the future.
