The VALORANT Champions Tour is a series of tournaments hosted officially by Riot games. Here, the best teams from nine different regions take part in their respective regional qualifiers. The qualified teams will then compete in the final Master’s event.

For 2021, Riot carefully planned out VALORANT’s timeline to have multiple tournaments across all regions. Three stages are organized where each stage will have Challengers and Masters events. From the three Master’s events, the teams will qualify for the Grand event: VALORANT Champions later this year. Soon, the first Masters of North America will begin.
The teams will compete for points known as Valorant Champions Tour Circuit points. They will earn standings according to the highest points obtained. On the basis of these standings across Masters Stage 1, 2, and 3 they will qualify for the Grand event: VALORANT Champions.
Tournament Format
The tournament will be Double Elimination brackets. All matches Excluding the Grand Finals are best-of-3. The Grand Finals are best-of-5.
VCT Circuit points are spread among the Teams as below.
- 1st (100pts)
- 2nd (70pts)
- 3rd -4th (45pts)
- 5th-6th (20pts)
- 7th-8th (10pts)
