The VALORANT Champions Tour is a series of tournaments hosted officially by Riot games. Here, the best teams from nine different regions take part in their respective regional qualifiers. The qualified teams will then compete in the final Master’s event.
With the start of 2021, VALORANT has achieved a flourishing competitive scene. With some of the best fps players in the world slowly shifting to VALORANT, Riot has planned a lot of events to showcase their skills.
They have planned for 3 Challengers events each stage, where the qualified teams will take part in the Masters event. All 3 Challengers events were completed for the Europe region and the regional Masters is set to start soon.
Tournament Format
The tournament will be 2 groups of four teams in a GSL format. The prize pool is $150,000USD.
Group Stage:
All matches will be Best-of-3 and the top 2 teams will advance to the playoffs.
Playoffs:
The playoffs will be in 4 team single elimination brackets. All matches are Best-of-3 and the finals are best-of-5
