Fortnite has added two new secret challenges in the latest 14.20 update and completing them can grant you 40,000 XP.
Each update Fortnite adds a few secret challenges that once completed grant XP to players. These challenges are fairly easy to complete and certainly worth doing. Previously we had two secret challenges called “The Slurp Talk” and “The Event of The Year” that gave use 40,000 XP.
After the 14.20 update, we also got new secret challenges. This time the challenges are called “The Aftermath” and “The Lair”. Completing these two challenges will also grant you 40,000 XP. These challenges are as simple as visiting a spot on the Fortnite map so they are extremely easy to complete.

The Aftermath Secret Challenge Guide
In order to complete ‘The Aftermath’ secret challenge you need to head on over to Sweaty Sands.
Then you need to locate the empty pool on the west side of Sweaty Sands. There is a set of stairs that lead to the empty pool. You can find the Blue Gnome under the stairs. Simply take out your pickaxe and hit the Blue Gnome to complete the challenge and get 20,000 XP.
The Lair Challenge Guide
For this challenge, you need to visit the secret lair of the Evil blue Gnome. His lair can be found in the building east of Weeping Woods.
In order to complete this challenge, you need to go to the basement of this building and go inside the vent to find the Blue Gnome’s lair. If you cannot find the basement then you can try breaking the floor under your feet until you get to the basement. Open the vent and enter the lair to complete this challenge.
