Horizon Zero Dawn releasing on PC

The Blockbuster Playstation 4 exclusive Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this year.

After many speculations and rumors all over the internet, Sony has finally confirmed the arrival of Guerilla Games’ Horizon Zero Dawn on PC. This was announced by Herman Hulst, the head of PlayStation Worldwide Studios in a Q/A.

Hulst stated, “Yes, I can confirm that Horizon Zero Dawn is coming to PC this summer.” “There will be more information coming from Guerrilla, from the new studio directors pretty soon.”

He also stated that the massive RPG hit is very suitable for a platform like the PC but he did assure that it does not mean every Playstation franchise will be making the same jump.

I think it’s important that we stay open to new ideas of how to introduce more people to PlayStation, and show people maybe what they’ve been missing out on,” Hulst added. “And to maybe put a few minds at ease, releasing one first-party AAA title to PC doesn’t necessarily mean that every game now will come to PC. In my mind, Horizon Zero Dawn was just a great fit in this particular instance. We don’t have plans for day and date, and we remain 100% committed to dedicated hardware.

Herman Hulst, head of Playstation Worldwide Studios

Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition is now listed on Steam. Which includes the Frozen wilds DLC and some in-game items:

  • Nora Keeper Pack
  • Carja Trader Pack
  • Carja Storm Ranger Outfit
  • Carja Mighty Bow
  • Banuk Trailblazer Outfit
  • Banuk Culling Bow
  • Banuk Traveller Pack

Horizon Zero Dawn released in 2017 as a Playstation 4 exclusive. The game was instantly considered one of the best games of the console, year, and generation. It received near-perfect and perfect ratings from reviewers, critics, and gamers alike. The Frozen Wilds DLC came later in the same year. We can, at last behold, what it’s like to see the game in 4k,60fps and beyond.
