Mocap Actor for Masterchief Bruce Thomas may have confirmed Halo Infinite release schedule, in an interview.
Initially supposed to be the killer launch title for Xbox Series X|S, Halo Infinite got delayed to next year. Although heartbreaking, judging from the gameplay trailer it was pretty apparent. From there on, we have heard little about the progress of the game. Especially a solid release date. This also hurt the sales of the next-gen Xbox Series X|S.

But, as it turns out Halo Infinite may be hitting shelves in Spring 2021. Not too far actually. This was stated by a long-running Masterchief mocap actor, in an interview on Reddit.
“We have wrapped up Infinite, I believe unless we’re going to try and do some more as the COVID comes to a halt. But as far as I know, it’s in the can, and ready to go for next spring.”
Bruce Thomas
His words might not be completely accurate. As he mentions that there is a possibility that he’ll have more to work on for Halo Infinite if 343 needs it. But we still expect a release window of at least late Spring.
After such a long silence of this legendary franchise, this news is surely heart-warming. A new generation of gamers will get to see the Masterchief in full glory. If everything is right that is. In fact, the once console seller franchise has been on a downward spiral for some time. Hence, making the franchise somewhat of low relevance nowadays.
Nevertheless, Microsoft has been keeping good promises for some time. With Halo MCC on Steam going popular, and Halo Infinite hitting Steam too. We have high hopes for the Halo series in going back to its old glory days.
