GTA 5 is coming to its third generation of consoles this fall.
Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto series has been a fan favorite ever since it came out in 1997. The series has continued to grow with each game, giving fans more to look forward to in the next. As we are on the verge of the next Grand Theft Auto game, Rockstar has decided to bring GTA 5 to the Next-Gen consoles. You can still play GTA 5 using backward compatibility on the Xbox Series X and S. However, GTA 5 is finally releasing this November on Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
There have been rumors going around about Grand Theft Auto 6 coming out soon. Although, Rockstar has yet to respond to any rumors circulating. Fans are still faithful and praying for a new one as it has been almost eight years since the last one. GTA 5 has been one of the most sold games of all time. GTA online has contributed to the sales, and it shows when you go through the amount players online in the game.
Moreover, PS5 players will be able to access the standalone GTA Online version for free for the first three months. Although for Xbox users, you will have to buy the entire game to play GTA online. Rockstar also teased a possible event coming for the anniversary of GTA 3 soon. PS4 users are already getting $1,000,000 every month until it releases as a bonus.
Rockstar further added that these “expanded and Enhanced” versions of GTA 5 and GTA Online will be able to take full advantage of the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S’s hardware. GTA 5 came out in 2013 on Xbox 360 and PS3. Since then, it has sold over 140 million copies worldwide. GTA 5 is coming to its third generation of consoles to further add to its huge sales record.
