Ghost Recon Breakpoint getting AI teammates

No more boring solo play in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, from this week.

From July 15th, players will be able to play Ghost Recon Breakpoint with AI teammates. Considering the bad reviews the game has been getting, this will change a lot of minds. Games like this don’t really go well with solo. Imagine Left 4 dead with no AI teammates.

Furthermore, players will be able to customize all gears and attributes of their companions. They will also be reactive to the surroundings and the player’s action, which means they will follow your orders and playstyle instead of going guns blazing at all times.

The 3 companions will be called Fury, Fixit, and Vasily; they will be available through a free update. Announced by Ubisoft in their Ubisoft Forward live event.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint released on October 4, 2019, is a sequel to Ghost Recon Wildlands, which had mixed reviews among gamers. The sequel, although had good expectations, could not deliver to its fullest on release. Hence, received a 58 Metascore and a 2.5 user score on Metacritic. Although Ubisoft has been trying to make the game better with more content and updates, it still has a long way to go.

Nevertheless, this AI companion update will breathe some fresh air into how the game feels and plays out. Hopefully, this will bring in some more players.
