Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut Trailer Reveals New Villain

Jin Sakai will face a brand new Mongolian villain named “The Eagle” in Ghost of Tsushima’s Iki Island Expansion.

Sucker Punch has just dropped a brand new story trailer for Ghost of Tsushima’s Director Cut. The trailer has revealed some interesting details about the game’s upcoming Iki Island DLC.

The trailer starts off with Jin embarking on a journey to Iki Island in search of a new threat. However, he is captured by a Mongolian cult. The cult is lead by an elderly shaman named Ankhsar Khatun, who is referred to as “The Eagle”. It is suggested that The Eagle is able to corrupt people’s minds and make them lose their sanity. The DLC expansion’s official description states:

“Jin’s journey begins when he discovers that a mysterious Mongol tribe has gained a foothold on Iki. They are led by a revered shaman called Ankhsar Khatun, known to her followers as “the Eagle.” As both a Khatun and a shaman, she is not only a conqueror of nations but a shepherd of souls. And the danger she presents to Jin and his people is unlike any they have faced.”
