Ayaka has several good weapons available, including a free-to-play option as well. Mistsplitter Reforged is the best weapon for Ayaka if you decide to pull for it on the weapons banner. Primordial Jade Cutter is also a great 5-star option because of its insanely high CRIT Rate. If you don’t have Mistsplitter Reforged, Black Sword from the Battle Pass is another pretty good option. Blackcliff Longsword is a 4-star option that can be purchased with starglitter when available from Paimon’s Shop. The free-to-play weapon Amenoma Kageuchi is the best option if you don’t have any 5-star swords for Ayaka.
Playstyle
Kamisato Ayaka is one of the most unique DPS characters in Genshin Impact. Her playstyle resembles Keqing because Ayaka is also heavily based on her Normal and Charged attacks for most damage.
Her sprint is essential to her kit because Ayaka’s unique dash gives her cryo infusion on demand. So she can apply Cryo to enemies without the cost of any energy. Moreover, if Ayaka’s sprint hits an enemy, she will receive an 18% Cryo DMG bonus for 10s. Because of her ability, players can permanently freeze enemies as long as they like.
Besides her normal attacks, Ayaka has a powerful elemental skill that deals massive AoE Cryo damage. Ayaka’s elemental burst is her most vital kit because she summons a powerful wave of icy wind that will greatly damage enemies on its path. Unfortunately, her elemental burst is tricky to use because it sometimes misses enemies completely. Using an Anemo character like Venti or Kazuha is highly viable for crowd control. You can also use hydro characters to freeze enemies and keep enemies in place, so her burst can deal the full damage.
