Mihoyo introduced a system where PC and mobile Genshin players can pre-install their game. The pre-installation feature allows players to download the update before the actual update drops which reduces wait time.
The pre installation feature for v1.4 starts on 03/15/21, 11:00 (UTC+8). So starting from this time players can start pre-installing v1.4 of Genshin Impact.
