Here is an updated build guide for Qiqi, one of the best healers in Genshin Impact.

Qiqi is a playable 5-star Cryo sword character in Genshin Impact. Resurrected as a zombie by the Adepti, she has ended up in Baizhu’s care and now works at Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue Harbor. Qiqi has a quiet yet polite demeanor when dealing with customers at the pharmacy. As a zombie, Qiqi has trouble retaining memories and can quickly forget about people. She is also fond of coconut milk and finches for reasons unknown, though she initially mistakes the former as “Cocogoat” milk.

Qiqi is one of the first 5-star characters ever introduced to Genshin Impact. She is mainly a healer who can heal the characters in the party, which scales off her attack and has impressive burst damage. Players can obtain Qiqi from the Standard and Character Event banners.

Below is a comprehensive build guide for Qiqi, one of the best healers in Genshin Impact.

Qiqi Artifact Set Guide

Qiqi is primarily played as a healer, but she can also be played as a Physical damage dealer, depending on her build. Here are the best artifact sets for Qiqi.

  • Ocean-Hued Clam
    2-piece set: Healing Bonus +15%
4-piece set: When the character equipping this artifact set heals a character in the party, a Sea-Dyed Foam will appear for 3 seconds, accumulating the amount of HP recovered from healing (including overflow healing). At the end of the duration, the Sea-Dyed Foam will explode, dealing DMG to nearby opponents based on 90% of the accumulated healing. (This DMG is calculated similarly to Reactions such as Electro-Charged, and Superconduct, but it is not affected by Elemental Mastery, Character Levels, or Reaction DMG Bonuses). Only one Sea-Dyed Foam can be produced every 3.5 seconds. Each Sea-Dyed Foam can accumulate up to 30,000 HP (including overflow healing). There can be no more than one Sea-Dyed Foam active at any given time. This effect can still be triggered even when the character who is using this artifact set is not on the field.
  • Maiden Beloved
2-piece set: Character Healing Effectiveness +15%
4-piece set: Using an Elemental Skill or Burst increases healing received by all party members by 20% for 10s.

Verdict

Qiqi has several good weapons available, including a couple of free-to-play options. Aquila Favonia and Skyward Sword are the two best options for Qiqi because of their high base attack and the weapon passive. Skyward Blade is the best overall weapon because of the high energy recharge.

Qiqi requires ATK for her healing, so ATK% weapons are great for her. The Flute, Lion’s Roar, and Amenoma Kageuchi are the best 4-star weapons for Qiqi.

Playstyle

Qiqi is primarily played as a healer; even if she is built like a DPS-type character, her kit allows her to heal her teammates. Even if Qiqi is a Cryo support character, she can still deal Cryo damage to opponents with her elemental skill and burst.

Qiqi’s elemental skill Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost will have her summon the Herald of Frost, attacking surrounding opponents with Cryo attacks. When the Herald of Frost is present, Qiqi’s normal and charged attacks will regenerate HP for all party members. The active character or the one followed by the Herald of Frost will restore HP periodically.

The Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune, Qiqi’s elemental burst allows her to release the Adeptus power sealed within her body. These talents will deal Cryo damage to nearby opponents and then mark those targets with a Fortune-Preserving Talisman. When a character hits an opponent marked by a Fortune-Preserving Talisman, that character will regenerate HP.

One of Qiqi’s passive talents, A Glimpse Into Arcanum, gives Qiqi a 50% chance to apply a Fortune-Preserving Talisman on enemies she hit with a standard or charged attack. After marking the enemies, hitting them with Qiqi or any other character will provide healing to the entire party.

Her elemental skill can briefly apply Cryo when Herald of Frost hits an enemy, and it can apply Cryo again in a short period. Other characters can take advantage of her Cryo application and dish out elemental damage. With a proper team rotation, Qiqi’s elemental burst can output decent damage with an elemental damage bonus.

Best Team Comp

Since Qiqi is a pure healer, she can fit into any team that requires a healer. Here are some popular team comps for Qiqi.

  1. Xiao, Venti, Qiqi, Zhongli
  2. Diluc, Qiqi, Xingqiu, Sucrose
  3. Keqing, Qiqi, Barbara, Diona
