Genshin Impact recently introduced a new daily Check-In feature that rewards players with in-game items and free Primogems for daily login.
Genshin Impact is an Action RPG game developed by Mihoyo. It is currently available for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Android. Genshin Impact is a free-to-play game with the Gacha monetization system. The game garnered attention from all genres of gamers for its clean visual, interesting character designs, and compelling story.
Mihoyo, the developers of Genshin Impact frequently hosts events outside the game to promote their social accounts and forums. Just a few days ago we had the “Wish Upon a Lantern” web event where the whole player base shared 1 Billion Priomgems(Currency used to make wish in Genshin Impact).
And just a few days after that we have another web event that encourages players to log in to the official Mihoyo community website daily. It is called the Daily Check-In feature and players can get free Primogems for consecutive log-in.

Daily Check-In Feature:
Mihoyo recently added the Daily Check-In feature where players can earn rewards if they check in daily. The description reads,
“A new Check-In feature has been added to the community. Travelers can log in each day to the HoYoLAB Community and click “Check-in”, then claim Primogems and other in-game rewards”.
Check-In Feature All Rewards:
In total there are 31 days worth of rewards available in the Check-In feature. On day 7, 14 and 21 players will get 20 Primogems each. So that means a total of 60 Primogems for using this feature for 21 days.
Some of the other rewards include Experience Books, Mora, Weapon Upgrade Crystal and others.
How to Check-In:
There are a few simple steps that you need to follow to use the Genshin Impact Daily Check-In Feature. The first thing you need to do is head over to the Home page of the official Mihoyo community. After that, you will need to login to the page using your Mihoyo account credentials.
Then, on the right side, you will be able to see a small icon similar to the one in the image below. Click on the icon and it will take you to the monthly check in page. Once there you need to click on the day you are currently on in the daily Check-In.

Rules:
Mihoyo also didn’t forget to add some rules on how the Daily Check-In Feature is going to work. The official rules are given below-
1. You can check in once each day. Accumulate certain amounts of check-ins in a month to claim the corresponding rewards.
2. Rewards and check-in progress are refreshed on the 1st of each month at 00:00. The previous month’s check-ins will not be counted toward the next month.
3. After logging into your miHoYo Account and checking in, all characters created under your account will receive the rewards via in-game mail that will be valid for 30 days. Make sure to claim the rewards in time. (Note: During server maintenance, there may be a slight delay in the delivery of rewards.)
4. HoYoLAB reserves the right to final interpretation and explanation of the above rules to the extent permissible by law.
Final Thought:
To be fair it’s a good thing that Mihoyo is trying to do events outside of the game. But the PlayStation players are being left out of this feature as you need an official Mihoyo account to use it.
Genshin Impact players would much prefer this daily login reward system to be implemented in-game rather than on a separate website that many will forget to log in daily. And the rewards are too minuscule for the amount of effort Mihoyo expects its player base to put into it.
Players will only be getting 60 Primogems for consecutively logging in for 21 days which is not even enough to wish once. The other rewards are also not worthwhile because the amount of resources needed to level up characters is just too demanding.
