The next installment of the Forza Franchise has been officially announced today in E3 2021 by Microsoft.

The game was announced earlier today in E3 2021. The Electronic Entertainment Expo or E3 for short is the biggest video game event of the year and like all years before it, brings us a lot of exciting new Gameplay trailers and reveals. The event is typically held in Los Angeles but this year, the event has been held online. The game trailer showcase and announcements are all going to be streamed live so viewers can enjoy from the comfort of their homes. The event will go on from June 12th to June 15th.
Forza has always been one of the staples in open-world racing games with its assortment of cars, scenic locations, and fun gameplay. Forza Horizon 4 launched in 2018 and Forza Motorsport 7 launched in 2017. This timeline made us all expect the next game to be Forza Motorsport 8 but Microsoft had us all in a surprise with Forza Horizon releasing first.
Game Location and Release date
This time, the Forza franchise is moving to Mexico. The breezing tropical coastline, the lush green forests, the wild open fields, and harsh deserts are the perfect setting for fast cars. Whether it’s off-roading through the open canyons or speeding through the slums, Mexico will definitely be an exciting new location.
The largest video game developers like Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, and Ubisoft will reveal their upcoming games and announcements for the games releasing this year as well as information about new games in development. Forza Horizon 5 is set to be released on November 9th and will also be available on Xbox Game pass from Day 1.
