Fortnite’s first-ever official box fight tournament is right around the corner. So if you are thinking about participating, here is everything from date, prize, rules, and other things you might need to know.
Fortnite Creative was released back in December of 2018. It is a place where players can design their own islands and share them with others. Since it’s release, one of the more popular game modes was box fights. There were no official Fortnite box fight tournaments until now.
Recently Fortnite celebrated its 3rd Birthday by hosting a contest called Princess Castle Creative Contest. The winners of the competition were HassanFTN and Shride. Their creative box fight map called “Island of Dreams”(9005-6737-3429) was selected as the map for the official box fight tournament.

Recently Fortnite announced the upcoming official box fight tournament on their competitive Twitter page.
Box Fight Tournament Date, Rules, and Prizes:
In order to participate in the Fortnite official box fight tournament, you need to look for the Box Fight LTM mode when it appears.
Date:
The box fight tournament is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28. The exact time for the tournament is still unknown but will soon be revealed in-game.
Rules:
In order to participate in the Fortnite official box fight tournament, you need to be eligible for it. Players need to be at least 13 years of age.
All players who want to participate must have 2FA enabled on their Fortnite account. To enable 2FA, players must visit https://epicgames.com/2FA, log in to their Epic accounts, and follow the onscreen instructions.
Another requirement is reaching Open League (Division II) in Arena before the tournament begins. The tournament begins tomorrow so if you haven’t reached Open League (Division II) in Arena yet then you should start now. It is actually quite easy as it only takes a few games. But it is better to be prepared early instead of leaving it for the last second.
Prizes:
No official prize has been announced yet but it might follow the Wild Wednesday’s tournaments prize format.
