Fortnite Is Coming To Next-Gen Consoles With Unreal Engine 5

Epic Games has announced that Fortnite is coming to Next-Gen Consoles and will migrate to Unreal Engine 5 in mid-2021.

Epic Games the creator of Fortnite announced on their official page that it is headed to next-gen consoles. They also announced it on their official Twitter page.

Next-gen consoles include Playstation 5 and X Box Series X and are set to release in a few months. The next-gen consoles will have higher-performing hardware than current versions. Epic Games has planned to launch Fortnite on next-gen consoles as soon as they launch.

With this news coming to light a lot of players had questions and Epic addressed the most obvious question in their post.

It will still be the same Fortnite everyone loves and enjoys. No new fancy graphics or complete overhaul but they will surely take advantage of Unreal engine 5 mechanics.
