Fortnite Season 5 Zero Point began on December 2nd and it’s already been a week. Usually, at the beginning of each season, Fortnite takes at least two weeks to start any tournaments to let the ever-changing loot pool settle down. But this time it has been only a week since the launch of Fortnite Season 5 and Epic Games has already announced a big $5,000,000 tournament.
Fortnite recently announced a tournament on their Twitter page. The tournament is called the Frosty Frenzy Tournament and it has a prize pool of $5,000,000.

Fortnite Frosty Frenzy Tournament:
Date and Time:
The Fortnite Frosty Frenzy Tournament will start on December 12 (Middle East Region will start on December 11).
December 11: Sessions 1 and 2 [Middle East]
December 12: Sessions 3 and 4 [Middle East]
December 12: Sessions 1 and 2 [All Regions Except Middle East]
December 13: Sessions 3 and 4 [All Regions Except Middle East]
The timing for each region will be announced in-game so keep a close eye on the in-game timer to keep yourself updated. Epic Games has the right to reschedule the tournament and will let all players know at their earliest convenience if there is any change.
Format:
Players will participate in teams of trios. The tournament is broken up into four sessions taking place over two days for each region. Each session will consist of two rounds and the top 500 teams from NAE, NAW, EU, and BR and the top 250 teams from OCE, Asia, and ME can advance to round 2.
Each round in session 1 will last approximately 2 hours and players can participate in up to 6 matches during this time. The top-scoring teams will move onto round 2.
Round 2 sessions will take place over 3 hours and teams will be able to participate in a maximum of 10 matches. The top-scoring teams after the end of round 2 will be eligible for the prize money.
