Fortnite Blaze skin introduced in the Chapter 2 Season 3 is apparently causing FPS drops and major edit delay for some players.
Fortnite Battle Royale offers players to acquire many skins and cosmetics and customize their character as they desire. Some of these skins are in the item shop for sale and some of them can be acquired through leveling up the Battle Pass.
Fortnite also released a lot of new skins during Chapter 2 Season 3. They also changed the map drastically by flooding the whole map at the start of the season. But all the additions of these skins and drastic changes to the map might have affected the smoothness of the game.

Now Players are apparently reporting that the Blaze skin is causing massive FPS drops for them. Fortnite Blaze skin is part of the Lava Series skins. The skin was released on 27th June and could be bought for 1500 V-Bucks.
Players Reporting FPS Issues With The Blaze Skin
A user on Twitter named Dety0 who makes FPS increase videos has shared on his twitter about the issues Blaze skin is causing.
He said that Fortnite default skin is the best in regards to editing delay and Fps. If you use the Default skin u have the chance to have the highest FPS and lowest edit delay in Fortnite according to him.
Nick Eh 30 a famous streamer on Twitch asked if a teammate or enemy needs to be within FOV or just near for the FPS issues and got this answer.
We have yet to receive any kind of confirmation from Epic Games about issues with the Blaze skin. Epic games might remove the Blaze skin and bring it back once a fix is introduced.
